Booking was incorrect Online check in had an incorrect phone number for me. Physical check-in was to slow (1 out of 4 check-in desks manned) + queue of 5 customers. I was not called when my car was ready, etc.

A courtesy car booked weeks in advance was handed over with only 3 miles of fuel, dropping to zero within a mile and causing unnecessary stress. I also received no vehicle health check or feedback, which I expected as standard.

The client handling bit was fine, but I was sent a message saying that I urgently needed my oil topping up, and a cost to do it. I didn't take up the offer and checked the oil level my self which was exactly at the maximum level.

Stop/start idle issue still an unresolved problem. Of the 6-previous BMW's I've had, this X3 is the worst Stop/start with too low/noisy thready uneven idle speed. Online forums suggest systems reset, using battery disconnect & grounding.

Generally good, however my first appointment was booked by a female in your central call centre and she assured me a loan car would be provided. When I arrived this was not the case and I lost a day's work as I had to reschedule.

No real information given on how the 'Drive Train Failure' somehow was rectified. It didn't feel me with confidence and I said as much when collecting the car, only to be proved correct.

See above for recent experience. The time before, which was a recall where the mechanics worked inside the boot, the boot liner was not reinstalled properly and there were plastic rivets missing that hold the liner in place.

The service team are experienced and this make a huge difference with diagnoses discussions. I had had suggested some work might need doing for the MOT but BMW were honest to say it wasn't necessary. Solidifies comfort to have future BMW services.
